Voices Festival: Eunopia game featured at MIL Corner

The Voices Festival’s Exhibition Hall featured a dedicated Media Information Literacy (MIL) corner, where consortium members engaged with visitors and showcased their projects, including the Algowatch project, which presented a video teaser of Eunopia, the Algowatch project’s serious game, developed by the Irish partner team led by Aphra Kerr, offering attendees a glimpse into the game’s immersive world. Set in the distant future on the planet EUNOPE, the game explores a society deeply influenced by AI and algorithms, where these technologies permeate every aspect of life.

Eunopia, a futuristic planet where artificial intelligence and algorithms have seamlessly merged with societal functions, represents the pinnacle of algorithmic influence, making it a fascinating setting for the game. The game will be made available shortly on the Algowatch website.

The MIL corner provided a valuable opportunity for attendees to learn about Algowatch and its resources, highlighting the project’s innovative approach to addressing AI and algorithmic literacy. The Voices Festival, held from February 27th to March 1st, served as a platform for sharing these crucial educational tools.
