The AlgoWatch project was featured at UNESCO’s Digital Learning Week, held from 2 to 5 September at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. Divina Frau-Meigs, president of Savoir Devenir and coordinator of the project, presented the Creative Europe initiative during a session on “Digital citizenship in the AI era: Values, competences and youth empowerment” on 4 September.
Frau-Meigs shared the AlgoWatch toolkit with an audience of over 100 people. She also released preliminary results on the effectiveness of the project’s interactive approach in empowering both teachers and young people. The presentation focused on co-creation and reflective practice and the potential for embedding AI and media literacy in educational environments across the European Union.
